HBK participated in the 2nd Annual School Supply drive for Chicago Commons. The drive benefited 170 students ( ages 4-5) leaving the program in June and entering into kindergarten in the fall. Employees who participated on the drive, received a card with the child’s picture and some fun facts about them, creating a connection to the child. ACI Spring 2016 – Milwaukee: The Concrete Convention and Exposition: Nanoscale Fiber-Reinforced Concrete
HBK Employee, Joshua Hoheneder presented at the American Concrete Institute’s (ACI) Spring 2016 Concrete Convention and Exposition in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The event was held from Sunday, April 17th, 2016 to Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 at Milwaukee’s Wisconsin Center. Joshua’s presentation, titled “Smart Materials and Sensors Based on Fiber-Reinforced Concrete”, was observed by over one hundred students, researchers, and engineering professionals on Monday, April 18th, 2016.
HBK Engineering, LLC has adopted a section of 31st Street, between Jorie Blvd. (west limit) and S. York Road (east limit) in Oak Brook under the DuPage County Division of Transportation’s ‘Adopt-a-Highway Program’. Last night kicked off one of four scheduled clean up dates.

Our HBK Iowa City office is proud to have completed the design of West Liberty’s Regional Learning and Cultural Center (RLCC). The project included the complete re-design of two separate buildings into one large building with multiple areas of use. The two buildings were gutted from wall to wall and completely renovated.
