HBK Oak Brook Cools Off

HBK’s staff enjoys Ice Cream from the Good Humor man to stave off the heat as the remodel in our Oak Brook facility continues.

HBK runs Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run

On Sunday July 26th, the Norristown and Philadelphia HBK offices participated in the Merrell Down and Dirty Mud Run this past Sunday. Amy Everett came out from Chicago to join them as well.  The weather was beautiful and turnout was great. Thank you to everyone who participated and to putting in their best effort to finish the race!


Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa ( RAGBRAI ), is an annual seven-day bicycle ride across Iowa. RAGBRAI is the oldest, largest and longest bicycle touring event in the world. Over 15,000 bicyclists will be descending on Iowa City and Coralville tomorrow and they will be relying on maps created by HBK The maps were created using GIS with assistance by Lori Boren from HBK, Steve Long and

Sam Pelelo-Ray from Iowa City places 2nd @SkillsUSA

Sam Pelelo-Ray, from HBK’s Iowa City office, participated in the SkillsUSA National Championships in Louisville, KY from June 23 – 26, 2015. Contestants used their drafting skills to solve an Architectural problem. The problem includes a written test, a hand sketch, and drawings using CAD or SketchUp. The contest tests the contestants’ problem solving abilities, not simply their CAD skills. He placed 2nd in the National Architectural Drafting competition.
