The Groundhog Club of Chicago hosted its annual Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner on March 22nd. The event returned this year to everyone’s favorite location, Plumbers’ Hall. The much loved Ground Hog made an appearance, food and drinks were flowing, and bagpipes were sounding.

Joined by over 1,000 VIP attendees, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Ms. Amy Rule co-chaired the Chicago Flower & Garden Show. Primary beneficiaries for the Evening were The Pilot Light Chefs, Illinois Restaurant Association Ed Foundation, and the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance. The night was filled with elobarate culinary presentation and a spectacular fashion show.

On Friday March 10th HBK’s Oak Brook office joined DuPage County Board Chairman, Dan Cronin at his annual St. Paddy’s Day Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner. The night was filled with entertainment by the Shannon Rovers Bagpipes and Irish dancers.
On Thursday February 9th, HBK joined several other professionals, educators, and JA ( Junior Achievement) students at Top Golf Naperville in support of the Junior Achievement program. Junior Achievement’s Purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. HBK is a proud supporter.
On Thursday March 2nd, Construct kicked off their 2017 program year. Participating companies gathered to present their background and potential job opportunities to Construct candidates. HBK is a proud supporter of the Construct program, a job training program that helps prepare candidates to compete for a good-paying, entry-level job in construction-related fields.
