Stand up to Kids Comedy Night

On May 24th, HBK attended ChildServ’s Stand up Kids Comedy Night at Stage 773. WGN’s Radio’s Patti Vasquez, WGN TV’s Ana Belaval and Comedian Roberts had the crowd laughing all night.    The night raised more than $20,000 for the children and families of Childserv.                    

HBK volunteers at Project Syncere: Enpowered Games

Project SYNCERE hosted a city wide engineering competition called, Enpowered Games that brought together more then 400 middle school students from 16 schools across the city. Students were provided the opportunity to showcase their engineering acumen, after working with the Project Syncere group for over 20 hours of engineering instruction. HBK employees volunteered as judges, guides, and floaters helping kids through this fun-filled day.  

HBK joins Habitat for Humanity Chicago in West Pullman

Yesterday HBK joined Habitat for Humanity Chicago to help build out two of the  16 homes in West Pullman at 119th and Union. HBK was joined by the Wells Fargo team to help frame walls, put up exterior drywall, and water proof the houses. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for the opportunity to help build a stable home for the families.                      

HBK visits UI Labs

Ron Kaminski, Keynote Speaker at University of Iowa

CEO of HBK, Ron Kaminski was the keynote speaker at the University of Iowa’s Hawkeye Innovation Expo on Friday April 27th. The Innovation Expo is held every year to celebrate innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa. HBK supports Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center

On May 3rd, HBK attended the 4th Annual Luminary Award Dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. The night included survivor Hannah Morrow who delivered her passionate remarks about her experiences and sexual abuse prevention. HBK is a proud sponsor of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and their mission to unite public, private and community partners to ensure the safety, health and well-being of abused children.

Last week the National Museum of Mexican Art held their annual Gala de Arte at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. HBK was a proud sponsor of this event and the Museum’s goal to:  establish an arts and cultural organization committed to accessibility, education and social justice. Yesterday HBK joined both private and public sector leaders to review the economy from a regional and global perspective at the Choose DuPage Annual Regional Economic Outlook Breakfast hosted at Drury Lane Oak Brook.
