The Woodlands Pride: Talking with Pride Summit


HBK's LGBTQ+ employee resource group, Empower, was excited to attend The Woodlands Pride Talking with Pride 2024 Summit. HBK and Quanta attendees were excited to come together to hear from various speakers and panels discussing allyship, health, showcasing artists, and more pertaining to the LGBTQ+ community. It was an incredible event to learn and a great way to kick off Pride Month.

Chicago Commons: Evans-Blossom Golf Outing


Our team was thrilled to participate in a golf outing at Shore Acres to raise funds for Chicago Commons. This event helped support Chicago Commons’ mission of providing family support services, senior care, and childhood education in the Chicagoland region and beyond.

EUCI Leadership Women in Energy Conference


HBKers had the opportunity to attend the EUCI Leadership Women in Energy Conference to learn about career advancement in the energy sector, speaking up with impact, and how to engage male allies in the fight for gender equity in the workplace.

Cal Ripken: Windy City Classic


The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation held its Windy City Golf Classic at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, IL. HBKers participated in the event to support the foundation’s mission of providing STEM education programs and mentoring to underserved youth across the US.


Seramount Multicultural Women’s Conference 2024


HBKers had the honor of attending one of the few conferences in the country that spotlights talented women of color and their support networks. Our employees were able to build community and gain insight on navigating their careers at the crossroads of race, identity, and leadership! It was an inspirational two days, and HBK looks forward to utilizing these tools and tips for the future.

10 of our team members had the chance to participate in the Annual Graduates’ Luncheon at Mercy Home, an organization assisting children growing up in difficult circumstances to thrive. We are so lucky to have participated in an event where proceeds will be used to fund children’s educational programs!

Two attendees joined the National Latino Education Institute’s 52nd Anniversary Fund-it-Forward at the Chicago Yacht Club! NLEI is committed to empowering Latino employees to take charge of their narratives through the provision of employment services and education training.
