HBK Recent Promotions
Justin Uihlein has been promoted to HBK’s Leadership Team as an Infrastructure Sector Lead working in parallel with Bethany Suwinski. Over the past year, Justin and Bethany have shown phenomenal leadership in developing HBK’s Infrastructure team and projects. Justin joined HBK in Chicago in February of 2014 with previous experience working for TY-Lin, where he was part of design teams for large infrastructure upgrade projects for entities like the Illinois Tollway, Metra and the CTA. Since joining HBK, Justin has been involved in multiple Illinois Tollway and IDOT/CDOT projects representing the designs for HBK’s telecommunication and power industry clients as part of large scale utility coordination and relocation efforts.As an Infrastructure Sector Lead, Justin will be responsible for further developing HBK’s Infrastructure Sector client base and team expansion as well as fostering the client relationships and programs currently in place.
Justin Kleehammer has been promoted to Program Lead for ComEd in HBK’s Power Sector. Justin joined HBK in Chicago in February of 2014, having spent the first part of his career at Nexus and Lovejoy Engineering working on projects such as Exelon’s FLEX Conceptual Design Effort. Since joining HBK, Justin has worked on ComEd’s Distribution Storm Hardening and Grid Resiliency efforts. Over the past year, Justin’s efforts have played a large part in transitioning HBK from challenges arising from growth and working in new areas of ComEd’s electrical distribution system, to being viewed as one of the most capable and quality driven Engineers of Choice on ComEd’s system today.
Jeremy Linke has been promoted to Program Lead for ComEd in HBK’s Power Sector. Jeremy joined HBK in Oak Brook in November of 2014 after 13 years with his previous company, CMT, where he led design teams for large aviation upgrade projects for entities such as Chicago Executive, DuPage and O’Hare International Airports. Since joining HBK, Jeremy has been heavily involved with ComEd’s Underground Suburban Mapping Revitalization Program (USMRP), responsible managing and coordinating one of ComEd’s largest efforts under the Power Sector. USMRP is a complex, multi-year, spatially accurate mapping of ComEd’s suburban underground distribution system and Jeremy’s involvement in the program is a major contributor to its ongoing success.
