HBK Rocks the Sterling Bay Fulton Market 5K to 1K

On Sunday April 12th HBK rocked the 1st Inaugural 5K to 1K race! The race took place in the Fulton Market neighborhood and ended at 1K Fulton Market with a fun post party. All proceeds from this race will benefit The Cara Program, a non for profit organization that strives to turn around homelessness and poverty.

Two of our very own HBK employees placed 1st in the race.

Andrew Kaehr took first place overall, beating out the competition with over a 2 minute lead.

Emily Saban was the 1st female of the group to finish and also placed 1st in the F2024 Division.

The Cara Program has evolved as not only a best-in-class job training and placement provider for individuals affected by homelessness and poverty, but also a vehicle for true life transformation. Since its inception, The Cara Program has placed over 2,700 individuals into quality, permanent employment (at one-year job retention rates of 75%), catalyzing the same number of families to stop the transfer of poverty from one generation to the next.
