Located in Oak Brook, Illinois, HBK's Oak Brook office takes our utility focused service offerings to a regional client base. Our Oak Brook staff focuses on large scale utility improvements for utilities spanning multiple regions and states.
Opened in 2014, HBK's Oak Brook office houses teams dedicated to the design and construction observation of power transmission and distribution facilities, gas distribution facilities as well as providing subsurface utility engineering for large scale improvement programs.

Jenny Klopp joined HBK in the fall of 2015 after working in the telecommunications industry for several years as a Broadband Designer. She has designed large city wide deployment of fiber and RF infrastructure for RCN and Comcast. As a Telecommunications Designer, she is responsible for designing small cell node design (DAS) for multiple wireless carriers, aerial plans, street trenches, directional bores and currently working on our new expansive AT&T project.
James DiSanti has been working for HBK for close to 2 years in the surveying department. Add that to his previous surveying experience, and he has over 30 years in this field. The surveying department serves all the sectors of the company and as a field lead, James runs the crew and makes sure that the surveys are done correct and all the information that was required has been collected. Staking out easements for any Comed, Nicor or any other utilities is one of the major aspects of his job as well as Topographic surveys, construction layout and boundary surveys.
