Key Personnel


    Andrew Barber has been involved in a variety of power, telecommunication and water projects over the past 3.5years with HBK Engineering. These include underground infrastructure inspections and surveying, underground and overhead electrical design, large-scale conduit installations and construction support.  He is currently involved with the design and management  of ComEd Facility Relocation projects throughout Chicago and utility connection and relocation designs for new building developments in the Loop.  


    Frank is in his second year at HBK and has worked alongside HBK for 15 years through the Greater Damage Prevention Council of Chicago where he is Chairman. Frank worked for the City of Chicago for 38 years where, as Contract Manager for all of Chicago and O’Hare Airport’s underground infrastructure, he built strong relationships with leaders in the damage prevention industry. Frank's extensive knowledge of utilities underground infrastructure, damage prevention practices and public awareness of damage prevention practices are leveraged to protect our clients’ interests. Frank is currently Damage Prevention Project Manager for HBK’s locate contracts for fiber optics. His current focus is renewing and expanding HBK’s scope of service in the Chicagoland area by ensuring that HBK remains a leader in damage prevention.…
